Leftist blogs are going insane
over Brit Hume's statement of raw truth about John Murtha on
Sunday. It came in response to a clip of Murtha saying that the
vast majority of Iraqis want the US out, and that as soon as we leave,
al-Qaeda will disappear.
When the FBI released the tape
last year, that put the lie to everything John Murtha's said about his
role in ABSCAM for the past 26 years, I figured he was toast. I was
wrong. I don't know what motivates his Johnstown, PA
constituents, but I wonder if they know just how evil this insane
little monster is? Attached to his bill that will continue to
fund the war in Iraq, are conditions that will keep the Commander in
Chief from winning it.
''Murtha wants to attach conditions on the impending supplemental
appropriations bill to fund the war. He would require that troops have
a year at home before redeploying, that they train with their own
equipment before deploying and so on. Because the too-small U.S.
military is under enormous strain, these conditions would be impossible
to meet while still doubling the number of U.S. combat troops in
Baghdad.'' - War Power Game, Rich Lowry

This is nothing less than murder. The Pelosi-Miller-Murtha
triumvirate is pushing policy so detrimental to the United States that
it threatens our very existence. I intend no hyperbole in making that
statement.

(sigh) I just love Brit Hume.

"I intend no hyperbole"
ReplyDeleteNo hyperbole exists in your statement. No doubt about it, the Dems are heavily vested in failure. Nothing matters to them more than being able to say "I told you so" at any cost. They would sell out the U.S. to the lowest bidder if somehow they thought it would make their position seem justified. No way at all-what-so-ever will they let anything that GW does succeed without a fight to the end. I don't get how they can look in the mirror ever day and live with themselves.
As for Murtha, his statement about redeploying troops to Okinawa should have been enough to drag his fat ass out to the town square for a date with a bucket of tar and a pillow of feathers, and that was the smallest of his crimes.
Yiur point is well taken Roger and it will damn sure cost the lives of many of our military people. This cartoon of a man is evil period no if ands or buts about it evil is the word.
ReplyDeleteRey, Murtha has openly admitted that his "handcuffs" will effectively end our ability to continue in Iraq, without making Democrats vote to "Cut & Run." Of course they know what will happen. They don't care.
ReplyDeleteI saw this the other day at Hot Air. Brit Hume was respectable and truthfully spoken, as always. Democrats "know what will happen..and they don't care." That's why Murtha wants to attach conditions that *appear* as concern for our troops by mindless, soulless followers; all the while going from slow bleed to outright wrist slashing of our troops.
ReplyDeleteWhat?? Can we do to stop this, Rodger? Our own elected don't support the requests of those who put them in office. For twelve years Republicans wasted their majority by succumbing to every evil will of the MINORITY. WTF?
Every time I received requests for money from the NRP in the past, say, four years, I wrote back to them stating, "when you begin to behave like the majority you are and stop being steam rolled by the minority, I'll send cash." Ball-less wonders. MFs
Frankly, I think the only legal thing that can stop Murtha is pressure from his Johnstown contituents.
ReplyDeleteWell yea legal thing?
ReplyDeleteThe friggin' coward will only accept feedback from constituants even though is pathetic actions affect the nation (world?).
ReplyDeleteCsanad - You can get through his email by simply using a Johnstown Zip. I sent a nastygram to his office thru his website by using his ofice and zip as my own address.
