Relax, it's just New
Hampshire. That erstwhile island of the independent minded
people in the sea of weeping sisters known as New England. This
particular produce of legislatures who think government is a
toy will make it a crime to release balloons into the air. The
aforementioned kiddies have been schooled - indoctrinated - with
enviro-sludge and, don't you know, birds eat those balloons and
strangle. What about the damage to the New Hampshire's political
ecology? Damage wrought by Massachusettsians who fled messy
bedrooms for clean ones up North? The sponsor of House Bill 62 is
Rep. Kevin Waterhouse. A Republican. Stab me in the liver,
why don't you. [

Yep, I can't figure why the people from Mass. move here to NH to escape all the taxes and regulations and then do their best to elect the same liberal minded politicians to push the same 'granny' agenda through our legislature. Maine has already become a Massachusetts clone and unfortunately, NH is well on it's way. I remember when the state motto, 'Live free or die' was more than just something printed on a license plate.

ReplyDeleteSame damn thing is happening here in Colorado as people from California sell their over priced real estate, come here and find "amazing" deals. IOW, realistically priced real estate. And they're bringing their same BS atititudes about illegals, the teacher's union, and tax-tax-tax. It's the reason Colorado seemingly overnight went blue.
ReplyDeleteSickening. GD CSMF liberals, they are destroying this country

I agree, turn the place into a dadblasted glass field
ReplyDeleteOpen Carry.
ReplyDeleteIt scares away CA immigrants.
If you threw a thousand deflated balloons on the ground, it would be littering. What makes it any different if they go up when you throw them? They will still come back down, days later and somewhere else. Just because you won't see it happen does not make it okay.
ReplyDeleteThis should be an issue we can all agree on. There's no need to make it partisan.
Ditto the remarks on Colorado. We went from red to blue, seemingly in the wink of an eye. Dem legislature and now a Dem governor, lots of feel good legislation happening. They shat their nest in California, moved here, and are repeating their mistakes.
ReplyDeleteMaine's no longer a Massachusetts clone, Mass looks to Maine for ideas on how to advance the idiot agenda. This year that would be the worst installment of tax reform as a shell game I have ever seen.
