... Supreme Court just ruled
that the Executive Branch does not control the administration of it's
agencies. I'm not sure if they too cited Al Gore's movie, but probably
it was a factor. Liberals like to go with what's popular, as long
as it's something that gobbles up lots of money and is assured of
failing.
Well, it seems to be what the people want, so what can be done. And, if
they don't want it, too damned bad, because the Court is not
elected. My immediate contrarian advice to Bush is issue
that apocryphal Andrew Jackson retort "Mr Justice Stevens has made his ruling. Now let him enforce it." I'll gladly be a part of that army who face off with the Supremes. We do have a strange democracy here, don't we?

It's not a democracy, it's a Republic. If we can keep it, I believe some Founding Father or another once said.

ReplyDeleteWonder what Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs- Discovery Channel) would think of the trade shown above. The guy on your right seems to enjoy it,judging by that sneakey little grin.Probably thinking," Messy job but easy and beats felling those oaks and sawing stone at the quarry".
