ReplyDeleteSpeaking as an analyst, this is not surprising. It is exactly the behaviour demonstrated by her husband and AlGore. Its pathological; a core component of their personalities and essential to their superiority complexes because the lies are used to mask their own failures. This works because they are able to lie to themselves and they believe it. Orwellian rightThink put into practice.

ReplyDeleteAlbright's story sounds embellished to me. I can't visualize thousands of GI's lugging around their personal American flags from Normandy until the end of the war be left with those they liberated. Most of Czechosovakia was liberated and occupied by Russians, not Americans.
ReplyDeleteDuring Warsaw Pact times, Czechs were required to study Russian and were not allowed to learn English until the wall came down. Likewise, any information about the US was filtered through the Soviet lens before the Czechs could have it.
The Czechs love America, and may very well have been flying many 48 star flags during Albright's visit, but they were probably manufactured copies of an old flag or perhaps copied from a picture from an old book.
I call bullshit on Albright and Clinton.
