  1. I recived this pic in a series of 4 late in '07. Happened in Florida, finnaly had to kill the gator and the hung it from the rear of a backhoe. It was aprox 16' long. Age estimate was not certin.

  3. I was playing golf (Florida) a couple of years ago, and a huge 12'to 14' gator launched itself out of a pond trying to snatch a large sandhill crane on the water's edge. I was about to tee off and this giant gator flew out of the water. Those f*ckers are fast. Bird got away though.

  4. I fell in love with Gators when we recently visited Hilton Head Island for the first time and became obsessed with taking photos of them. What got me was how silently they can move through the water! Here are a few of the ones I got - from a safe distance of course.

    You should have seen the look on my cousin's face the first morning we went for a walk and she realized there were gators in those little canals! I knew ahead of time of course but didn't DARE let on.

    I got some great baby pics too! So cute!
