Obama's Birth Certificate

What's really bizarre is the total lack of interest the media have shown.  Where's the New York Times story "Right Wing Bloggers have hopes dashed"?  Where's Katie Couric?  Sixty-Minutes? Why is an Israeli newspaper the lone investigator into the eligibility of Obama to even run for president? ?  Not since Vince Foster's death have the media shown such a complete lack of interest for something so serious.  The only defense of the apparently fake birth certificate Obamanites have made is to claim that  Hawaii factotum Janice Okubo said "it's a valid certificate."  The Israeli Insider has  a different quote from Okubo.  
“ Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: "At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically." And, she added, "In the State of Hawaii all certified copies of certificates of live birth have the embossed seal and registrar signature on the back of the document." ”
Somebody here is a liar.  Could Obama be so arrogantly stupid as to try and tough-out a lack of citizenship? What's his game with letting this thing fester?

    I predict that there is no scandal here. This is just a ploy to innoculate Obama from future REAL scandals. What better way to say, "This latest purported scandal is just another phony attempt by the rightwingers to thwart the democratic process, just like the fake issue of my supposed foreign birth. How typical."

    It's almost Rovian. See? The Democrats CAN learn.

    I agree with you nomennovum....Wonder if they fabricated this whole phoney business just so they can later produce an authentic document and raise holy hell about Right wing dirty tricks etc....Hard to believe His Holiness could be taking all this so calmly unless this is the case.....Can you imagine the wailing, moaning and the gnashing of teeth of the disciples?

    That thought crossed my mind, but how does that explain the lack of interest by legitimate non-lefty news sources? I don't think Limbaugh has even brought it up. Where's LGF? Where's InstaPundit? Captian's Quarters?

    Well, if you were going to bring it up, wouldn't you wait until he was a little further into the kill zone? Anytime in the last two weeks of the campaign seems about right.
