There are a ton of these stories out there, now that Obama is elected. I chose this one because it's written by Muhammad Cohen, certainly the best journalist's name since Peter Schmuck.

The
world's investment of hope in Obama will likely fare little better than
shares or property investments in 2008. Items on the Obama agenda,
often hidden in plain sight, are bound to disconcert many of his
overseas fans. Much of the disappointment will be unavoidable.

Key Points ...
-
McCain said he would stay in Iraq for 100 years if necessary while Obama
pledged to end the war. But often there's only one decision that a president
can make,... McCain or Obama would likely
withdraw forces as quickly as the military says it's feasible without
endangering American lives... given those parameters, the war won't end anytime soon. Obama's
supporters at home and abroad will be disappointed.
- Similarly, with the financial crisis, the broad consensus among economists and
elected officials is that there are limited options, and they involve
unwavering government support for Wall Street.
- Expectations won't be met in the countries where Obama has
family ties. Kenya's disappointment will spread to Africa, where Bush
has offered unprecedented assistance to fight AIDS. Obama will be hard
pressed to surpass or even match that generosity, particularly with the
US deficit out of control.
- Obama has
pledged to get serious about fighting global warming. However, the inconvenient truth is that
United States under president Obama will not join the successor to the Kyoto
Protocol. No US president will sign an agreement that exempts three countries
among the top five carbon emitters, and that will never change as long as the
UN insists that exemption is non-negotiable.

A pretty good analysis, under ordinary circumstances. But Muhammad Cohen may be underestimating a radically leftist congress that rides with Obama. And how subservient they are to the Soros loons who own the party. Anything can happen with this bunch. Anything.

Not that it matters. It's like a hangover: you can accept it, as long as you got to celebrate.
ReplyDelete"“White bitches. F--- McCain. You white police can’t do nothing,” 19-year-old Celita Hart taunted officers... At some point, authorities said, Hart left the crowd, which had been chanting “Obama, Obama,” walked up to a squad car, and smacked a male officer in the face."
Hmmmmmm... let me guesss...if I think the above behavior is wrong - I'm racist.
ReplyDeleteWell... fuck it then.. like the old song goes.. I'd rather be wrong than right.
Yes - I think racism is wrong- HOWEVER - I think alot of these asswipes have no clue what racism really is.
Gosh - I've been drinking alot this week - can't imagine why. Rodge - delete if you deem it needed.

Lolz. Anonymous shit mouth strikes again. Way to show your IQ.
ReplyDeleteI give the hard-core lefties until about April....then they'll realize that CHANGE doesn't really mean what they think it means...
ReplyDelete(and that's when they'll turn on him.)
Anon's link is important to understanding his comment.
ReplyDeleteAnother example, Mass. voters voted to decriminalize the possession of one ounce of pot. It passed but just a glodarnminute buzz brains. The law will be in conflit with Federal law. Like passing 18 year old drinking, it can be done but all kinds of Federal funds will be yanked.
ReplyDeleteI pointed this out to a young dude while getting a haircut yesterday and he blew a gasket. "You mean those assholes played us?". was his retort. Like a fiddle.

So Cynthia McKinney is using the pseudonym "Hart" these days, huh?
