Elected democrats, hereafter called
lying MFCS, have contemplated various absurd back-door assaults on the
Second Amendement for years. A five dollar Health Care tax
on every bullet has been bandied about, now Illinois has a new gimmick.

Democrat Proposes Law Requiring Firearm Owners Have $1,000,000 Insurance Policies
Infowars
Monday, Feb 16, 2009
Illinois — the land of Obama and the Blagojevich mafia — is serious
about making the Second Amendment so expensive only the rich will be
able to exercise it. Kenneth Dunkin, a former social worker and
Democrat member of the Illinois House of Representatives, has
introduced HB0687, entitled the “Firearm Owners ID-Insurance” bill. It
is currently in the Rules Committee.
Dunkin’s bill amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act, a
previous bill aimed at chipping away at the Second Amendment. Dunkin’s
amendment states “that any person who owns a firearm in this State
shall maintain a policy of liability insurance in the amount of at
least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from
negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is
owned by such person.”

They need to be kept busy fighting even more outrageous pro-gun legislation.
ReplyDeleteHow about a state requirement to prove full citizenship and a membership in the unorganized militia before voting by open carrying a firearm while voting?
I don't think that it will ever fly, because all Chicago aldermen are allowed to carry, and I can't see them getting the insurance.
ReplyDeleteAndy,
ReplyDeleteJust the fact that the aldermen get a pass to carry in IL demonstrates that laws are for you and me, but only suggestions for the Annointed. If that travesty passes, look for the Annointed to be exempt by law from the insurance requirement.

ReplyDeletegun powder.
3/2/1 Charcoal, sulfur, saltpeter. Water enough to make paste, window screen to make flakes. Let dry, shake screen.
ReplyDeleteMy formula was wrong. According to "Foxfire" 25/3/2 Potassium nitrate(saltpeter), charcoal, sulfur. Somehow that seems inverted.
ReplyDeleteGoogle is our friend, however.

ReplyDeleteSkip ahead please.
ReplyDeleteGuncotton and collodion are easy to make.
Soften with ethanol and ether, and knead together, and you have Poudre B.
Or you can mix guncotton with nitroglycerin, use acetone to soften the mix up, and extrude it into cordite.
It's best that I don't know how to make that stuff. Just be to tempting.
