What does it mean when the flag at
the post office is flying at half mast?

  4. 5 years ago the local PO had 5-6 windows full with helpful folks. as these folks moved or retired they have not been replaced, usually 2-3 harried burnt out Postal Workers. 20 minute wait to get to the window, computer scale failed worker could not sell me three stamps (they took the stamp machine from the lobby 2 years ago!)Without her computer. What a waste of my time.
