Gov. Deval Patrick’s
free wheels for welfare recipients program is revving up despite the
stalled economy, as the keys to donated cars loaded with state-funded
insurance, repairs and even AAA membership are handed out to get them
to work.
But the program - fueled by a funding boost despite the state’s
fiscal crash - allows those who end up back on welfare to keep the cars
anyway.
“It’s mind-boggling. You’ve got people out there saying, ‘I just
lost my job. Hey, can I get a free car, too?’ ” said House Minority
Leader Brad Jones (R-North Reading).

Can you imagine, if one of the states that claims to be a sovereign entity just stopped welfare from entering its state (to people physically capable of work)? And lets say that state offered vouchers for U-hauls to be returned in San Fran or DC (where they lubs dem some wefare). Can you imagine the economic impact that might have. I can, it gives me a chubby.
ReplyDeleteOne warm heart coddling thought to always keep in mind is that liberal policies always exposed the stupidity of their ideology. Oh, and if left to their own devices liberals will start warring with each other other different leftist agendas (like when lunatic fringe Peta goes after Al "we 're killing the planet" Gore for not doing enough to save the planet by not becoming a vegetarian). drummermanrick
ReplyDeleteThis is beyond parody.
ReplyDeleteThere really are people trying to destroy the US. There can be no other explanation. With giveaways like these, it'll be just a short time before the looters outnumber the producers and take the rest of it.
I guess your "carbon footprint" only matters if ya bought yer own car....
