Obama and your yard sale

Yup - Yard Sale Gestapo
Why there will be more Oklahoma Declarations of Freedom

In case you're keeping track of Obama's 100 day achievements
Remember how leftist mocked when earlier this year people warned that the hastily passed Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act granted overly broad powers to regulate even small businesses and thrift shops? Well, it’s actually worse than people thought. - Chicago Boyz
This handbook will help sellers of used products identify types of potentially hazardous products that could harm children or others. CPSC’s laws and regulations apply to anyone who sells or distributes consumer products. This includes thrift stores, consignment stores, charities, and individuals holding yard sales and flea markets. -
Selling old kids books, anything with metal, paint, or plastic that a kid might use, old clothes or shoes with metal components that a kid might wear? You know, any of the stuff people routinely sell at yard sales? Technically, you could be on the hook for thousands of dollars worth of fines. 1. But of course, Dahling. It's all about the taxation. Yard sale goods are considered undeclared income by the greedy MFCS Libs.

We had our moving sale last weekend and in the move I discovered a coveted copy of Children's Fairytales (circa 1970's). All the scary stuff we grew up with and so did my kids. I cherished it and boxed it for storage. Horry Clap! What if I had sold it?

BTW, we are officially on the road. Escrow closed, $$$ in bank, and RV on the fast track our of Cali(fuking)fornia.

  4. It's much safer at this point to donate items to a charity and take the tax deduction.
