So Obama is quoting the "torture philosophy of 'Tin Eye' Stephens" as interpreted by by Ben Macintyre of TimesOnline as further spun by the the learned-just-ask-him Andy Sullivan of The Atlantic as finally determined by Sam Stein of the erudite-in-liberal-eyes-only Huffington Post.
ReplyDeleteI feel better already in knowing that Obama flat out lied about Churchill saying "We don't torture."
Excitable Andy made it up. Someone in the White House (paid for by me, btw) saw it, and being all of 28 years old, put it into an "off the cuff" line for Obama, who fell for it.
