  2. Most of the Wehrmacht's transport was human and animal powered.

    When asked why they didn't use nerve gas, Goering said they were afraid of retaliation because they had no gas suit that would fit on a horse.

    A deliberate anthrax attack would have paralyzed them completely in Europe.

    Richard Karn hosted a program on The Hitler Channel called "The Foot Soldier". One of the profiles he did was of the Wehrmacht soldiers in Central and Eastern Europe. They walked everywhere. From the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea and everywhere in between.
