The
seven Blue Dogs on the Energy and Commerce Committee stormed out of a
Friday meeting with their committee chairman, Henry Waxman (D-Calif.),
saying Waxman had been negotiating in bad faith over a number of
provisions Blue Dogs demanded be changed in the stalled healthcare bill.
“I’ve been lied to,” Blue Dog Coalition Co-Chairman Charlie Melancon
(D-La.) said on Friday. “We have not had legitimate negotiations.
“Mr. Waxman has decided to sever discussions with the Blue Dogs who are
trying to make this bill work for America,” Melancon said. [All the Fun]

We had 8 years of “Bush lied” with impeccable Dem wit logic and the press, print and electronic, bought it every time. She tried it recently with “CIA lied” and most of the press said piously, “Yea, verily.”
ReplyDeleteNow, the “impeccable” becomes “imputable” when them Dem Wits try to work together and use the same logic on each other. “Work” is a bad word choice.
Soon, they will start throwing each other under a bus. DC bus service may be a good use of our tax dollars.

When is someone gonna dig into Waxman's doings. Mr. "Snooty-Holier-Than-Thou-Grand-Inquisitor-from-California" has been wanting and trying to control everybody's behavior for so long -- he's GOT to be DIRTY somehow! The guy that concentrates so hard of goring everybody else's oxes usually turns out to have the biggest ox of all.
