Yeah, but look how much they got right: in-car GPS navigation, rear-view video, containerized cargo, larger, clearer highway signage, house-like RVs, lighted highways, underwater highways, airborne medivac. Self-driving cars are very close, most of us will live to see them.
I get great enjoyment out of these future predictions from the past. I can loose hours reading PS, PM, MI magazines from the 40s-70s. Thanks, Rog!

What planet was that supposed to be? It's like the writer put the thing together over a weekend locked in a room with nothing but a couple of pounds of ganja and a stack of comic books.
Isn't it amazing what we would be capable of if we didn't waste so much time and money on foolish things as global warming and have to deal with lunatics who want us dead for Allah's sake.
The innocence, the optimism... so much was lost in the 60's.
