Is that a Ted Rail cartoon? Not sure if I have the cartoonist name correct, made awful cartoons about Condalizza Rice and our troops a few years back. Big time leftist.
Actually the airlines have wanted for decades to find some way to get the public to accept airliners with no windows.
It a HUGE cost to put in windows and it really messes with the structural integrity of the 'stressed-skin' fuselages.
Putting in the personal flat-screens with multi-view cameras in the tail is the latest step to eliminating the windows, so its just a matter of time....

The only good solution is suspended animation.
