On-line cell phone comparison

Try Phone

Boned Jello

Nifty idea.  Try Phone lets you play with different cell phones (15) before you buy.   I foresee this model being replicated for dozens of consumer products.

  1. Too bad they didn't have something like that for candidates before the 2008 election.

  2. I'm actually going to get the HTC Pure with an account upgrade from AT&T for $50 and 2yr "unlimited" contract @ $95 before taxes and fees. Mama said she wants to get it for my birfday in 2 weeks. Phuck iPhone! Too bad it wasn't in the kick-the-tires list at Try Phone.

  3. .
I don't have a cell phone because there are times when I want to be unreachable. I have thought about getting one of those cheapies, where you pay up front (at exorbitant rates) in case I need to cry out "Help, I've fallen and can't get up."

  5. For a basic emergency phone try Tracfone. $30 more or less for a phone and $20 every three months for service. This would be for those like me that don't talk all day. Rounds out to $6.6666 a month. I'm cheap and so there...

  6. Tracfone is what I was thinking of. Except I don't like condo fees.

  7. I just buy a tracfone for $20, and a one year card for $100. I use cash for the transactions.

Then leave the phone on a park bench after a year and buy another.
