I've been seething over news that Harry Reid wanted to put a Climate Bill on
the fast track. That the pretext for the bill has been totally
discredited means nothing (as though climate change ever did). When I
just now saw this header at Watts Up With That?
I thought, "Well it took long enough Graham, you little weasel."
But, oh no. Sen Lindsey Lohan didn't come to his senses that
anthropogenic global warming is a crock of crap. Blue Boy is
pissed because Democrats are placing it on the back burner to
immigration reform (which has already been taken care of quite nicely
in Arizona).

The
effort to enact comprehensive climate and energy legislation this year
suffered a critical blow Saturday when Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (S.C.),
the key Republican proponent of the bill, withdrew his support because
of what he said was a “cynical political” decision by Democrats to
advance immigration legislation first.
The move forced the other two authors of the climate and energy bill,
Sens. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) and Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.), to
cancel a much-anticipated news conference planned for Monday at which
they were to unveil the plan they negotiated with Graham.

There are, today, two categories of people who believe in ACC ( anthropogenic climate change).
- Fascists who realize that "climate law" will give
government dominion over us in areas that Obamacare doesn't, like that
pesky notion of private property.
- Lazy minded, and truly stupid people. So stupid that they are a danger to a free society, and ought be disenfranchised.
Sen. Graham finds himself in the latter category.

Oh, I don't know there Rodg, I can think of a third type, me:
ReplyDeleteDeep in the ground lies oil, and without people it'd stay there, mostly harmless. But I want it, and thus it's brought up and refined, and I burn it. There is zero doubt that by doing so I've raised the local temperature.
The argument really is this: How much do I as a person really contribute to climate change, relative to the awesome natural forces? And then, if it's a measurable and nontrivial quantity, what should I do about it?
That's the crux.
Personally, I live in Ohio, and am getting older and thus more susceptible to the cold. I am all for global warming, saves me from moving to Carolina.
This is a documentary refuting mans impact on global warming.

If the mojado population votes with the Climate Change assholes, that proves we got us a large population of uneducated latinos since a rise in energy costs across the board would kill millions of low-end jobs.
ReplyDeleteLos mojados should be chanting "Dreell, Senores, dreell!"
Alear,
ReplyDeleteyour scenario is not part of the AGW postulate (based on a fraudulent computer model of the impact of CO2, now shown to be a total crock). It also neglects to include the impact of using other fuels to substitute for petroleum and coal. Goodbye trees! Goodbye modern civilization! Hello mass starvation, poverty, and misery!
[/oversimplification]
you don't suppose that big friggin' fireball in the sky that appears every morning...and leaves every evening has anything to do with it?
