He
went on to bash Fox, saying, "Don't catch yourself being biased by Fox
News that somebody is no good, the people in Washington are good, they
just don't know what they don't know."
According to the Senator, constituents should balance Fox with CNN,
because it's unhealthy to get the news from one source. He, himself,
reads two newspapers, the New York Times and the Washington Post,
because listening to both sides puts things in context, and knowing
different views "makes you a better person."
A better person? If the Times improves character, may I suggest porn
to enhance Bible study. Coburn sounds like a camp counselor who's
spent too much time at a yoga retreat. To know thy enemy is good, but
recognize one thing: they are the enemy.
[Coburn bashes Fox, praises Pelosi].

ReplyDeleteSince when were those two papers on opposite sides? Both are liberal.
If this is our staunch conservative, then it's clear that they ALL have to go. Totally out of touch with mainstream (yes, mainstream) Americans. Nothing short of complete House and Senate cleansing will do in these treacherous times. If not the ballot box, then our only option will be the cartridge box. Not especially looking forward to it, but the future of my progeny will depend on what I do.
ReplyDeleteThey have pictures of him naked with little boys. I can see no other reason.
ReplyDeleteCoburn has been drinking that Inside the Beltway Kool-aid.
ReplyDeleteHe read the NY Times AND the Washington Post for differnt perspectives.
Like listening to NPR and Radio Pacifica for differnt perspectives...
Orin Hatch: bought and paid for by Novell Corp (among others)
Chuck from Tacoma~
ReplyDeleteRight-on!! Exactly what we suspect any time a politician suddenly flips a biatch. Gots to be. At any rate, they can no longer be trusted.
The pictures were one of the rumors going around about Hatch; such was the confusion at the time. Didn't make sense. He then later became great pals with Ted. Oink.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointed. But OK has many outstanding conservatives who will gladly take his place and many more voters who will let them.
ReplyDeleteDr. Coburn also said he eats a balanced breakfast every morning, consisting of both frosted and unfrosted Pop Tarts.
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason the WaPo is called "Pravda on the Potomac" and it is hardly a counterbalance to the NY Fish Wrapper! Now if Dr. Coburn read the Washington Times - he'd garner a slight amount of credibility with me!
ReplyDelete"they just don't know what they don't know"
ReplyDeleteso yer sayin' Rummy was right?
