They're innocent, tough on condemnation of others - until they get caught.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of Republicans who have been caught in embarrassing or criminal acts over the past ten years - generally a huge howl from Libs, a speedy resignation or special prosecutor, and sometimes, persecution of the innocent.
Duke Cunningham - what, three months from discovery until prison; Scooter Libby,et al, persecuted over a non-crime and ruined; Dick Armey - resigned over an impropriety. Then we have Hillary what law firm records Clinton, Cold Cash Jefferson keeping his seat after the bribe money was found, Marion Barry getting re-elected after soliciting drugs on camera, John Murtha serving for decades after suggesting he could do business with an Arab sheik on tape.
Dems could get a pass even if caught on tape stabbing a Girl Scout, as long as they didn't break any environmental regulations or call her a Conservative. Then would be a Hate Crime.

Sorry to correct you Lt. Col. Gen., but if the above scenario happened the girl scout would have had it coming for being a conservative and probably was the aggressor, being a uniformed member of services. Probably was caught aiding the tea partiers with cookies!

How's about a tiny flipside? They aren't just an embarrassment, they don't rank high enough in the connections world to blackmail. And if they did, it would harm the party's overall cause to expose them. In essence, they are catch and release fish.

Personally, I think she bears a closer resemblance to Yasser Are-a-fag. In fact, for years I thought he was hiding in the White house press corpse in drag.
