R. Lee Ermey RIP - HOAX

I woke this morning to find this e-mailed news from Jim Tetzlaff.  I'm surprised over the profound sense of loss I'm feeling here. There was no mention of his Hitler Channel show MAIL CALL, which episodes I never missed.  Rest in Peace after a job well done    Gunny.

    Jim and I were both taken in. I'm damned happy that this appears to be a hoax. Common sense ought to have told me that Ermey's actual death would have been bannered all over DRUDGE.

    Phew! Glad it's a hoax... I try to stay up on things, and this little email caught m as being kinda strange, since the man supposedly passed away close to 2 weeks ago, according to the email...
