his
year's debate over extending President George W. Bush's tax cuts has
turned into a brawl over which party is doing more for small
businesses, with assertions that the health of the economy and
thousands of future jobs are at stake.
|
” |
Obama
claims that not that many small businesses will see taxes rise if the
Bush tax cuts expire. Which would necessarily mean that those tax
cuts were negligible to begin with? Besides, says Obama,
his first order of business when congress returns from its summer
recess will be to pass a bill aimed at "enticing" banks to loosen up
small business loan requirements. A plan formulated by Barney
Frank, Chris Dodd, and Maxine Waters no doubt. Even the WaTimes
reporter gets caught up in sub plots involving dueling "think tank"
minutiae here. Two indisputable facts remain, however.
- Killing the Bush tax cuts results in a huge tax increase for somebody.
- Obama the Marxist's claim that he is a champion of business growth is felony chutzpah.

I was thinking the other "c" word.
ReplyDeleteAs was I Jess, as was I.
ReplyDeleteCasca
Small business doesn't need to barrow more money and accrue more debt but pay fewer taxes.
ReplyDeleteI could and would hire another employee IF I didn't have to pay the Government as well.
Yeah, I was thinking "Corporation" also.
ReplyDeleteBanks, businesses and investors are sitting on their cash. A bona fide enticement, were Uhbama serious about enticing, would be to remove the fear and uncertainty about what stupid f****ing policy gaffe Barry Buffoon will shove down our throat next.
ReplyDeleteHE and the statist bastards (Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Dodd come to mind) in Congress are what is in the way of recovery.
He better have another hit on the crack pipe if he thinks any words of his short of "I resign" will do anything for our economy.
Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
The guy's a Corp sucker.
ReplyDeleteThe Scene:
ReplyDeletePresident walks into the Oval Office to deliver his speech on Iraq.
Barack Obama walks into the room full of Generals and important functionaries with a monkey on his back and one of the party says, “There’s a monkey on your back Sir.”
“Yeah, I know”, says BHO.
“Wha’da ya call him?”, asks a General.
“George Bush”, replies His Downtroddenship.
“Why George Bush?” questions an attendee.
“Oh you know.....Hadacol it something!”
They all laughed and laughed.
“Don't forget Sir",said a dignitary..."Try the halvah ice cream later”....."Hahahahaha"
He does know that borrowing money costs money, mmm right?
ReplyDeleteI mean, out here in the real world, it does...
So, maybe he doesn't know...
