Conway's criticism of Obama for announcing a date certain
withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan is remarkable, almost
MacArthur-esque. Imam Obama famously views any criticism as lèse majesté, and this was a (well deserved) public rebuke. Can you feel Obama's seethe?
The "debate" about pre-announcing the date you'll surrender has been
going on since Vietnam. How does one defend this self defeating
maneuver ? The answer is, one cannot. It's not that Democrats are
unable to grasp the implications of the pre-surrender gambit. They may
not care about American battlefield losses, but what if the concept was
applied to something they do stand up and salute - tax collection?

My case in a nutshell. Whoever famously proposed [ahem] that "The United States will never win another war as long as Democrats hold office," was spot-on.
