 Gen. John D. Lavelle absolved.

Whatever his reason, it's a good thing, that.  General Lavelle was scape-gated.   I hate using that term, because President Nixon was absolutely right in just about everything he did re: Vietnam.  Had he been a Democrat, and he damn well could have been in many regards (except he hated communism), Nixon would in the eyes of Liberals stand as one of America's greats.

    To Obama, I'm sure all military is 'rank' especially from the Vietnam era.

    Nixon's only problem was he got caught. The cipher has done much worse to our nation and will never get caught because the "catchers" are in cahoots with him and his kind. I long for the days when a president was somebody you could trust - we actually have no choice - the idjit has our lives in his slimy hands. Not an appealing thought is it?
