I
don’t like the Democrats because they are statists. They are for big
government and more taxes. They are also for mob rule. They want a
democratic society, not a Republic. That is a disastrous recipe. Big
government always leads to tyranny, democracy lacks the limited
government structure of a Republic, which makes it harder for
corruption to prevail. Democrats seem to love corruption. They wallow
in it like pigs in their own dung. That’s why they seek to undermine
our limited-government constitution at every point. You can go back to
Tammany Hall right up to today to see their disregard for the rule of
law. Rangel and Waters were merely caught. They are far from outliers.

I dislike the
Republicans because they don’t practice what they preach. They’re
supposed to be the party of smaller government and lower taxes. But
they are just like ’70s Democrats now. Aside from the Bush tax cuts,
they’ve expanded government and spending to obscene levels. When the
Democrats came into power they just made the Republicans look
conservative by contrast.
Less terrible is still terrible. [James Hudnall continued]

I chuckle whenever I hear 'Bush tax cuts'. When you increase spending, and 'cut taxes', you're not cutting taxes, just putting off the increase needed to pay for the spending for some sucker in the future to have to deal with. They're all liars and phony's. I despise them all.
ReplyDeleteLike all Democrats and half of the Republicans, you are an economic imbecile, Jim. Taxes don't exist in a vacuum. They suppress whatever economic activity to which they are applied. Remove the tax and you remove the suppression. Under the Bush tax cuts the treasury pulled in more revenue than it ever has. Lowering taxes doesn't cause deficits, deficit spending does.

These tax cuts are now officially the "Obama tax cuts for the middle clase", specifically NOT reducing taxes for the 'rich', whoever they may be, as the definition changes with every iteration.
ReplyDeleteMs. P. is totally insane. She has no contact with the reality that the other 99.99999999999% of us endure. In her reality, the Government buys the booze, pays for the luxury plane and chauffers her to wherever she presumes to go. Everything is wonderful.
I can only hope that a miracle happens, and she has to return to Baghdad by the Bay... as a plebeian citizen.
