Bachman Revolts

Michele Bachmann
"If John Boehner's the only candidate running
[for speaker], I'll be voting for John Boehner."

Boned Jello
If it's true that women voters have nearly destroyed this nation, and it is; it's also true that conservative women are aggressively so.  They make good leaders.

  2. I think we're over considering how the lefties feel -- about anything. It's down to who survives, the nation or the Democrats?

  3. Reckon she's holding the door open for Palin?
(don't have to be a Congresscritter to be Speaker)

Ah, Sara as Speaker... The sound of liberal heads exploding throughout the land would be akin to a very sweet rendition of the 1812 Overture

  5. I was discussing at lunch today why of all times, having the Speaker to be from Ohio isn't gonna be all that great. Boehner won't dare to bring home all that luscious, delectable pork. Too bad in a sense, I guess. But if he did, I'd be leading the torch and pitchfork brigade, and I'll be closer than you. He does seem to be a good enough chap, we'll see how this goes. Cantor won't let him stray too far off the reservation. Bachman surely won't be far from a microphone either, and my new guy Stivers from the OH-14 (soon to replace Hanky-lite Kilroy) is the real conservative deal.

On the Senate side, we'll be replacing crying George Voinovich with Rob Portman, who I'm excited about. He's truly the cat's pajamas. Not overly effervescent, but very very sharp.

Ohio is playing host to TOTUS, Uncle Joe, and William Jefferson in the next few days. Not sure what they can accomplish, looks like they want to keep Strickland in as Governor. Not gonna happen, it'll be Kasich, unless there is a major vote steal. They're here solely for 2012.
