Let's put aside for a
moment that US District Court Judge George Steeh
- was recommended for the bench by Senator Carl Levin
- was appointed by Bill Clinton.
- is president of the Arab American Bar Association
- is a social activist, including being an active
member of
the Interfaith Council for Racial Justice (one of which guiding
principles is, ironically, Opposing
political power that is derived from a racist appeal)
- Has a history of basing far reaching decisions on "feel
good" emanations.
Forget all that. How in the hell do you bend the
Commerce Clause pretzel, yet again, to regulate the act of not
engaging in economic activity? Arguing that a
person can not guarantee that he or
she won't do something?
I am in the school that thinks removing (impeaching) activist judges
ought be the single highest priority of congress. This guy is a
poster
boy candidate for inclusion.
This is just one suit,
and a relatively minor one at that. Here's a clearing house site
for all suits being brought against Obamacare,

Just one suit but great timing. Mow more people will think that the best way out is repeal.

My repeal is to vote the sumbitches out and put them in prison. Repeal the damn unconstitutional law - which the cipher will veto so we are back to square one. Congress must not fund ANY of the onerous legislation - that is the only power they have left. The cipher has taken all other power for himself. Socialism is insidious and nasty. They sneak in but, we are wise and won't let em in now will we????

My morning prayer:
ReplyDelete"Lord, let me live long enough to see these bastards hang."
Casca
Casca, we are melded into one well-armed mind! Here; your General Sergeant insignia. *snappy salute*
ReplyDeleteLate at night, as I'm drifting off to sleep, I smile as I soothe my troubled soul with a vision of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and Joe Biden being frog-marched out of their respective offices in handcuffs and leg shackles! What a lovely, lovely sight!
ReplyDeleteI have similar bedtime fantasies Gayle, but mine feature orange tracers ...
ReplyDeleteThe wetting down will commence at my place around 1700. If nobody shows up, I'll start without you.
ReplyDeleteCasca
Congratulations Casca.
ReplyDeleteSecretly I'm hoping to be promoted to General Corporal this quarter.
