No, they should not compromise on principle. Absolutely not,” Palin said on “Fox News Sunday.”

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee criticized the “go along to get along” attitude that she said many lawmakers, including Republicans, adopt once they get to Washington. She extended her position to the possibility of a “grand bargain” that would combine deep spending cuts along with smaller tax increases to close the nation’s soaring budget deficit.

Palin that even in that circumstance, similar to one now being adopted by the ruling Conservative Party in Britain, Republicans should oppose tax increases. “It’s a false premise to believe we have to increase taxes on the American people to balance budgets,” Palin said. “We don’t have a taxing problem. We have a spending problem in this country." [Hill}

  2. Canada did get out of it's hole, dug by Hussein PET(Fart)Trudeau by increasing taxes(and reducing spending), but it was in a wildly expanding economy.

    These day Canadian Federal taxes
    are getting REDUCED!

  3. leelu,

    I believe it's a service star, denoting that she has a family member serving in the military; I have two blue stars myself (one Army son, one Air Force son).

    That looks like a copy of the star that is put in the window of a home where a family member is deployed in service with our troops overseas

    In WWII, a gold star meant that the service member had been killed in action

  6. I stand with Mitt Romney. We need an executive leading the executive branch.

  8. I'm sorry Alear, but Mitt believes in government. That's not my idea of a conservative.

  9. Sarah Palin was an executive, governor of Alaska.
    And did far less damage than Romney.

  10. We do not need a "republican" who instituted a state controlled healthcare plan.

    That RINO toad Romney needs to just go the fuck away. Or run as a Democrat.
