All We Got

  1. In Sterling, VA we got what can generously be called a "dusting" and that was swept away by the high winds almost immediately.

  2. My daughter and her navy husband just returned to California, MD (near NAS Pax River). As Floridians they were thrilled to find a couple of inches of snow.

  4. Just north of West Palm Beach FL the only reason we didn't get snow was no precipitation; we did get frost on the cars. Was 31 degrees last night and a record-breaking 27 degrees the night before. (This was our third hard freeze this month when we normally only get one week of cold weather in late January....)

  5. Its 61 degrees and raining here in San Antonio. Haven't seen snow here since 1985.

Best wishes for a happy New Year to all who congregate here.

  6. Tim, it was a COLD 31 last night in WPB, not the balmy 31 they get up in MD and that area. We are a hearty bunch, we who wear gortex with fishing shorts. -Anymouse

  11. They had snow 250 miles north of here, in Nogales. Never had snow here in the last 300 years.

If it makes you feel better, about 20 years ago it got down to 34 degrees and 40 inmates in the local prison froze to death.
