I think
God is sending us a message. "Use
what I gave you and become self sufficient again."
It gets worse. China's winter wheat crop failed due to cold and drought. China will have to import grain this year. Countries like Egypt could face actual starvation.
The last time the weather cooled was around 1300. There followed many years of crop failure due to heavy rains in the Spring and Fall in Europe north of Italy and Spain. The people were so weakened that they did not stand a chance when the plaque hit in mid century.
The good news? Those that survived were much wealthier since there were so many less people to share the wealth accumulated in the Medevil Warm Period. They were so much better off that they were able to develop the Renaissance.
Shouldn't affect any of us but the stoners. What it means is that more illegals will try to come north.
