Apple Restriction Zone
Of course PC's using Windows 7 are only marginally
better (if at all).
But atleast we don't skulk around trying to convert people like zealous weirdos who know the comet is coming tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteApple offers free software. QuickTime, iTunes, and Darwin, to name a few.
I've installed plenty of apps from the web. I have no idea how he got that notion.
I've shared lots of music and books. You can even share copyrighted ones over a local network.
I don't know if they can disable apps & media, but it's never happened to me.
Microsoft caved because of big Federal and EU lawsuits. They were making too much money so the Feds and EU got jealous.

Funny... Kindle was the first device I heard about sneakily 'removing' boughten items from folks' devices...
