Under a White House plan, the Homeland Security Department will have
far-reaching oversight over all civilian agency computer networks.
The proposal would codify much of the
administration's memo
from July
2010 expanding DHS's cyber responsibilities for civilian networks.
The White House, however, is taking those
responsibilities further,
according to a source familiar with the document. The administration
drafted a legislative proposal to give DHS many, if not all, of the
same authorities for the .gov networks that the Defense Department has
for the .mil networks.
Federal News Radio recently viewed a draft copy of the legislative
proposal. [full]

"The Big Lie"
ReplyDeleteRepeat the big lie long enough, and people will believe it's the truth.
What's with the picture of Pelosi with her mouth stitched shut?
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, FNR took over 1500 AM in the DC area, formerly occupied by the very popular all-news station WTOP. I wonder how many listeners kept listening without even realizing the switch.
ReplyDeleteI once worked with a guy from Kenya. He told me it was hopelessly corrupt along family and tribal lines, and it was due to his families high position that he was able to get to the States and get started. He had an special contempt for the leadership that had their education from socialists European universities.
ReplyDeleteThey would espouse one thing and do the opposite. One thing I took away though, was that the Kenyan's widely know the game is rigged and will admit it. The Obamaites not so much and lie to each other. At the current trend Kenya may end up in better shape that the US.
