Drudge readers may have noticed these two listings yesterday. The first references a USA Today article that cites a Gallup Poll: “   Still, in the USA TODAY poll, only 38% of Americans say Obama definitely was born in the USA, and 18% say he probably was. Fifteen percent say he probably was born in another country, and 9% say he definitely was born elsewhere. [SHOCK POLL: ONLY 38% SAY OBAMA 'DEFINITELY' BORN IN USA... ^] ” The CNN article, voila!,  has it's own take: “ A new CNN investigation reveals what most analysts have been saying since the "birther" controversy erupted during the 2008 presidential campaign: Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Period. While the president has made light of the controversy, the question remains political red meat for some of his critics. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll showed that nearly 75% of Americans believe Obama was definitely or probably born in the United States. [CNN: Obama could FOIA birth certificate, but 'nothing would satisfy doubters'... ^] ” If you read the (1012 word) CNN piece, you'll learn not a jot more than the DNC media complex was presenting three years ago.  Namely, "Obama's 2008 campaign produced a certification of live birth, a document legally accepted as confirmation of a birth and routinely used for official purposes. "  Well, there actually is something new if you watch their video [Evidence again shows Obama born in Hawaii ] .  The CNN guy (nobody knows their names anymore) claims that, now, any Hawaiian citizen wanting a copy of his full (real) birth certificate must invoke a FOIA (freedom of information act) action, that is both  laborious and time consuming.  That's the first I've heard of that, and if  true, it's recent policy created to give Obama cover.  But, assures CNN guy, Obama could produce his full certificate if he wanted to, but what good would it do?  Obama haters would still say "it's not real."  Unbelievable. Aside.  I am immediately reminded of a recent Anthony Bordain visit to Romania where he recounted the fall of  its communist government.  The government bussed in 100,000+ people to show support for a speech by leader Nicolae Ceaușescu. Sometime during a long harangue of old lies, the crowd turned ugly, and shouted him down.  Ceaușescu and his wife were grabbed and executed three days later on live television. Ahem.
