$79 gets you a stripped machine. But if you already have an old PC like mine with a working monitor etc, then this could be a cheap step up.
For under $300 you can select upgrades to make this a pretty decent ready to go PC for someone new to the computer world.
Not bad. Of course, it's refurbished and you have to buy a warranty. For $450 you can get an HP All In One model with warranty, great for grandma, and it's many times better than you can build this one up to, and has no wires to tangle.

Grandma also needs a special large type keyboard. Makes a huge difference. My mom can now e-mail without frustration and typos.
