When I was a kid my little league coach had a truck like that . On the side he had painted a huge turd with fllies buzzing around it ! Above it was painted "Mcintire Plumbing , Your waste , is my bread , and butter" The county made him paint over it ! People still talk about it 40 years later ! ; ) > SMIBSID
As a complement to your observation on how the culture has coarsened SMIBSID, in the late 70's a Mexican manufactured roach killer named "The Last Supper" was withdrawn from sale in the US after universal outrage over the disrespect shown to Christianity. Can you freaking imagine?
Had a butcher in town for a long time and all of his signs/adverts said "Charlies meat...ya can't beat it". Then some bluenose filed a complaint...sigh.

While it is not crude, I did get a real kick out of an ad on TV for a local car parts store. Their slogan was: "If it's in stock, we've got it!"
