Debbie Wasserman : Thank Obama for High Gas Prices

A Debbie Wasserman Schultz Moment

Debbie Wasserman Schultz on "Face the Nation" yesterday, answering a question about Texas' job-creation record:
There are dramatic contrasts with--with the governor of Texas, not the least of which is that it's extremely difficult for him to deserve credit for that job creation when you have rising . . . gas prices that created oil jobs that he had nothing to do with.

Which one is Dumber?

Wow, as far as we remember, even Jimmy Carter never had the audacity to try to claim credit for high gas prices. - Taranto

  1. I'm thinking they're just about to the point of making up crap, such as "Perry is Big Foot", or dragging some worn out prostitute from a Democrat fundraiser to "swear" she knew Perry and had some secrets that need to be revealed.

Perry could eat kittens for breakfast and I'd still vote for him before I'd vote for Obama. The press is wasting their time.

If my used toothbrush ran against Uhbama, I think it could win. I'd vote for it before Uhbama.

I'd vote for a used tampon before I'd vote for Obama. At least at some point in it's past, the tampon was useful & served a purpose and it's origins can be traced and documented.

  5. Well the Rasmussen Poll of likely Republican Primary voters is out.
Perry 29%, Romney 18%, Bachmanm 13%, the rest are in single digits.

From a comment Sarah Palin made I don't think she is going to run in 2012. She is going to protect her kids from the press and other jerks until they are out of school. So be looking for her in another election cycle. The other candidates have adult children and they are less "hostages to the future."

  6. Told my wife the kittens for breakfast line. She laughed, then told me she saw an Obama "Like him then, still like him now" bumpersticker.

Just proves once again that brain damage and IQ loss aren't reversible. Pity. This country had such promise once.

  7. They are scared to death of Perry. It's not that he can wipe the floor with Barry, it's that he's not from their club. He might ask the right questions and go after some folks.

  8. If Palin is out of it, then Perry is the nominee. Take it to the bank. I'm not as excited about that as I want to be, but way more than when "McCain," or "Dole" were the names.

  9. The Primary question is this:

Would you vote for Carter over Obama?

Me, if it came down to it, I'd rather the kittens ate me for breakfast.
