Where
the current administration has failed to persuade Congress to adopt its
legislative agenda, time and again, it has waived its regulatory wand
and enacted the failed "legislation" as "regulation."
Magically, it becomes the law of the land.
EARLIER ....
In 2010, organized labor
condemned the bipartisan vote in the United States Senate that killed
the Employee Free Choice Act.
Employees,
prematurely, celebrated the fact that their right to a
secret ballot in elections determining union representation was
secure.

The Canada Free
Press's 50 Impeachable
Crimes and Counting is really
just a laundry list of known Obama criminal activity since he left his
mother's (if she was his mother) womb. The American
Patriot's list is more targeted. The problem is that
impeachment is a political act. I can't for the life of me
see congressional Republicans— they who in an act of sheer stupidity (and some
cowardice) just condemned us to us Third World status and a second
Great Depression, have the guts. Democrats are systemically
corrupt, and can no longer be expected to display fealty to
anything but party doctrine. Obama is clearly a
not so nascent dictator. Solution? I have a red button in
my brain. I onanistically press it constantly. It feels
good, but just for an instant.

It was good for me. You?

I skim a few poll sites, and they indicate most of the likely voters are not happy. The problem is that their concerns are ignored by most all politicians and all of the Obama Administration.
ReplyDeleteSo, "We the people" are only hollow words written by people that had a really good idea of how fucked up a government will get over time. I'm hoping it doesn't get ugly, but having a harder time every day of seeing a different outcome.
You know Jess, in hindsight I'm not so sure this hasn't always been the case. It's just that today's pols, Democrats, are so "in your face" with it. Example - after Hillarycare was defeated" and Republicans took the House in 1994, they set about implementing damned near every aspect of Hilliary's plan and nobody knew it. I want a clean slate and a do-over.
ReplyDeleteI want a big house cleaning, but not just politicians. I want all the offices emptied, everyone that remotely helps in administration fired and a buch of empty offices with a copy of the Constitution laminated to the top.
ReplyDeletePop quiz every evening at 3:00 pm for the newbies...which will be everyone. I volunteer for helping to write the tests.
PaddyPower.com still has BHO at 4/7 beating Mitt Romney at 5/1.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with your red button is, it's not connected to, oh, let's just say for example, several billion tons of explosives buried under Washington DC.
ReplyDeleteIt is in my head. and that's my reality.
ReplyDeleteGuess we need our own "Guy Fawks", eh.
