Bill
Clinton* was elected president on a simple slogan: “It’s the economy,
Stupid.” The message was posted on the wall in the campaign
headquarters in Little Rock. No one was allowed to be stupid enough to
question or forget what the campaign was about. The rest is history.
Barack Obama and his wise men are still casting about for a winning
theme for 2012. The best anyone has come up with is, “It’s NOT about
the economy, Stupid.” [Wes Pruden]

WHAT'S YOUR SLOGAN FOR BARRY?
*FWIW, The truth is that it was not until 1995 (after GOP takeover of
Congress by the way) that Clinton economic growth exceeded 4th quarter
1992 (which he called the worst economy in 50 years).

"Vote early. Vote often."
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you could take time on your way home from the funeral to vote your late Dad's wishes. You KNOW he'd want you to pull the lever for Teh Won. If you see Mom's name on the rolls, get your sister to make sure Mom's vote is counted too...
He don't need no stinken' slogan when he counts the votes.

What? Me worry?
ReplyDelete"Bill Clinton* was elected president on a simple slogan" ...and by a little odd ball with some flip-charts...

ReplyDeleteor
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need!" (Concrete. Not abstract. But too big for a bumper sticker.)
or
"No war but class war!" (Here we go!)
