Because 11 years old Demias Jimerson is so
good at football ("runs circles around the other
kids on the field"), principal Terri Bryant has decided he’s not
allowed to score more than three touchdowns, provided his team has at
least a 14-point lead. [Full]

They tried this crap with a kids soccer league in the Portland area ... if a team got too high of a score, the automatically lost.
ReplyDeleteThe day after this stupid little rule, the coach of the most competitive team in the league had his kids deliberately score enough own goals to make the other side get a score of 5 to 0, and therefore lose under the new rule.
That rule was rescinded the next day.
