Gates: Israel an ungrateful ally
Former
US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates blasted Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu, saying that his policies were ungrateful towards the US and
were isolating Israel on a global level.
Gates’ harsh words were said during a meeting of the National Security
Council Principals Committee, Bloomberg’s Jeffrey Goldber reported
Tuesday.
Gates believes Netanyahu’s government has offered the Obama
administration “nothing in return” for its generous security aid, which
includes access to top-quality weapons, assistance in developing
missile-defense systems and high-level intelligence sharing.
The former defense secretary said that not only is Netanyahu
ungrateful, but his polices were “endangering his country by refusing
to grapple with Israel’s growing isolation and with the demographic
challenges it faces if it keeps control of the West Bank.”

"Israel’s growing isolation ...;" is
more than anything the product of the Obama administration aligning
itself with Islam, and against them. Yes, Europe was well on the road to
anti-Israel politics before Hussein Obama arrived, but that's because they're a cowardly people who,
in the face of the Muslim takeover of their nations, behave
like Europeans always do in the face of threats - Chamberlain
them. Obama on the other hand is himself bent on
Muslimfying the US. All evidence points to it. Gates is just
another in a string of Democrat pet military men without honor.

After watching a documentary about Pat Tillman, the top of the military is looking more and more like pandering cowards. The honor is gone and the blame has started.
ReplyDeleteI think Yoni the Blogger says it best: "Gates and other like him are the ungrateful allies that are willing to risk the future of Israel and the Jewish people. The Jewish people with G-D will never be defeated. Come on Bob, between friends what you really want is a return to the good old days. When you didn't have to complain about strong Jews. You could just yell Juden Raus."

Once you get more than 1 star, your job becomes political.
ReplyDeleteNo way around that since Washington formed the Order of Cincinnatus. Elected leaders are in charge.
The honorable generals just give lip service to lunatics like Obama, and do not display Stockholm Syndrome effects like Gates is.
Never ever trust any O-6 who really, really, really wants that star.
ReplyDeleteOnce an 'O' fails to screen for command they dont have to be a politician anymore. They are often bitter but alot more trust worthy.

I don't see how Gates is a "military man". He has always been a professional eunuch.

I will stand with Israel. That covenant thing is still in force.
