The universal picture of an Imam, teaching his flock, is the index finger of the right hand extended upward. We've all seen bin Laden with that affectation. It's not a surprise seeing Ahmadinijad doing it. I've seen Obama do it before, but he's done time in madrasses. I wonder where Pelosi picked it up.
Li'l story here, Rodge. I'm supposed to be on a dive boat motoring through the night to the Dry Tortugas for spearfishing and lobstering. But the trip was canceled due to high seas. I'm distraught, back at home, with an empty freezer. After double desserts, I checked Drudge and had a snicker at that spread.
I was going to screen cap it, but then I thought, "Rodge is gonna be all over this." And of course you are. Thanks for making my life a little easier during these hard times.
Skoonj, I figger one of two things: Either she was just caught picking her nose, or got confused about which finger to stick out at taxpaying Americans.
The finger on the left is used to threaten nuclear attack. The finger in the middle is licked and held in the air to see which way the political winds blow. The finger on the right...I don't even want to think about where it's been.
