My nephew was watching a TV show once where the wold was filled with idiots in the distant future.. Really really dumb people, I believe that this is the first wave.
That sounds like the movie "Idiocracy" about an average American Joe that wakes up in the future to find out that compared to everyone else he is a genius and the smartest man in the world.
As long as it rhymes it doesn't have to make sense.
