When pressed by NBC Meet the Press moderator David Gregory about the Obama administration’s role in the current state of the U.S. economy, Vice President Joe Biden said, “We have turned it around,” adding that Americans believe the Bush administration “got us in this trouble.”

If you think about it, D'Oh Joe is right.  They have turned the economy around in craptacular fashion.

    Sorry to go off-topic but I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with: if BATFE is a LE organization of the Treasury Department, why is no one asking Turbo Timmy Geithner what he knew about Fast and Furious and when he knew it?

    Snackeater-- Because BATFE is a LE organization of the Justice Department.

    The old BATF was part of Treasury. The BATFE is part of Justice, with the occupational licensing and taxes pulled from it and put back in Treasury.

    Hunh. Musta missed that one. They were transferred as of 24 JAN 03, under the Homeland Security Act. It's hell getting old.
