Eleven illegal aliens who claimed ICE agents “violated their rights” in 2007 raids on their New Haven neighborhood have won a $350,000 settlement from the U.S. government, which also agreed to halt deportation proceedings against the plaintiffs, their attorneys said Tuesday.
I have to step away from blogging for awhile.  I pressed my red blow-them-all-to-hell button so hard that I broke it.

    The attorneys will probably get about $140K plus litigation expenses. Good for them.

    My bet is this isn't being accurately reported in the news. I've never seen a newspaper reporter get it right yet.

    I suspect the real reason ICE decided to settle this is that the agents blatantly violated the 4th and 5th amendments of the U.S. Constitution.

    We would be saying the same thing if the FDA came without warrants, busted down the doors of Amish farmhouses, and started arresting people for selling unpasteurized milk.

    To hell with that Chuck. These scumbags are ILLEGALS - not Amish CITIZENS!!!! This is just about the dumbest thing I have seen in a long time. Come on, the wetbacks don't deserve a clean asswipe - they deserve an asskick out of the country but, we pussy out again and give away the treasury.

    I want some balls in the government and perhaps the only way is to elect Sarah Palin as President! She has more balls than the current occupant and ALL THE REPUBLICANS together!!!!!

    Doesn't matter. The constitution is the constitution. If the Feds violate it, they deserve and need to be smacked around.

    If we say, "screw 'em, they're just illegals" then the Progs/Dems/Libs/Commies will be able to say, "screw 'em, they're just X-ians/Repubs/3%ers".

    Vote Sarah, build the fence, and FICE.
