1902 Laundry Champions

Our nostalgia will be better than our kid's nostalgia

This retro picture is pretty straight forward, and evocative.  The 1902 winners of some laundry contest look pleased as punch  to excel in the domestic duties of that era's homemaker.  Look at them.  Not a pudge in the lot; all fit and trim from not sitting on their fat butts all day.  And they didn't vote in 1902, so there was never, ever a chance of an Obama presidency.  And we liked it that way.

    The 1902 Olympic Laundry Team had to practice the old-school way... beating the clothes on rocks in an ice-cold stream while looking out for bears and catching trout for dinner by hand!

    None of that Facebook, Twitter or Google stuff for these girls....

    There are a few babes in there. Along with the one you cite, the two standing on the left are pretty darned cute too. Actually, there isn't a one of them that isn't far better than most hogs we see passing for women now a days.
