Food Stampin' in Alabammy

       WHAT GUMMINT DOES
                        A Food Stampin' Good Time

A nightclub in Montgomery, Ala.hosting a 'Food Stamp Friday' party on April 6 that seems to glamorize life on the federal government's food assistance program. An invitation for the April 6 party (obtained by The Daily Caller) tells patrons of the Rose Supper Club in North Montgomery that the Friday night cover charge will be just $5 if a 'food stamp card' is shown upon arrival.

  1. It works. Swipe the card, charge it as groceries and we get to pay for their party. It's a sweet deal, unless you pay taxes.

  2. I know a lawyer who got in a lot of trouble for taking food stamps in payment for a legal fee.

"You mean food stamps aren't legal tender?"

In his defense, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

  3. Top right it reads
    "No Lunch Break PO-motions".

Does that mean they don't have a toilet then?
