Even in the late 70's, the Moscow taxi drivers longed for the good old days when comrade Stalin was in charge. Will the American left EVER reach a watermark higher than 2009-10? They fed at the trough until they exploded. Nationalized the auto industry, and poured money into the union coffers for fights down the road. What they forgot to do was govern.

Most American lefties seem pretty quiet about Uncle Joe these days, even as they seemingly adopt the viewpoint that his erstwhile ally Adolph may have had a few good ideas, Final Solution-wise, and all that.

I also watched Archangel the other night (2nd viewing).
