scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
Roger - Thanks for remembering three from my High School class:
Roy Douglas Hurlbert Corporal C CO, 1ST BN, 9TH MARINES, 3RD MARDIV, III MAF United States Marine Corps Wheat Ridge, Colorado August 02, 1945 to April 16, 1968
Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Technician 3rd Class HS-8, CVSG-59, USS BENNINGTON United States Navy 09 October 1947 - 12 January 1967 Wheatridge, Colorado
Donald P. Yarrington, Jr Staff Sergeant C CO, 4TH BN, 9TH INFANTRY, 25TH INF DIV, USARV Army of the United States Salt Lake City, Utah January 10, 1947 to October 21, 1967
I did no work yesterday. I did watch a couple movies on TMC, but left the yard alone. I remember my best friend, who once saved my life and whose girlfriend I stole, who was KIA in 1965. Those of you who pray, would you please mention Robert Elisha Polkinghorne, PFC, USA? Pvt-Cdr MichigammeDave (By the way, my liege, do I get to keep my submarine designator, or is the Barn Army a strictly aviation command?)
Most wonderful Memorial tribute, sir. Thanks for presenting America's finest.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, and my privilege

One more.
ReplyDeleteIt's the only tribute I post on Memorial Day.
Not able to say enough in words.
Thank you.

I think "Private-Commander" covers a lot of territory, wot.
