OBAMACAZRE IS LEGAL!!!

                                   Bad Judges

So the mandate is constitutional. Chief Justice Roberts
joins the left of the Court.

Tom:
The bottom line: the entire ACA is upheld, with the exception that the federal government's power to terminate states' Medicaid funds is narrowly read.

  1. This is nothing less than the death knell of the United States. It will NEVER be undone, and precedent it set.

  3. Amy Howe:
The money quote from the section on the mandate: Our precedent demonstrates that Congress had the power to impose the exaction in Section 5000A under the taxing power, and that Section 5000A need not be read to do more than impose a tax. This is sufficient to sustain it.

  6. There is no question about it. Obama is successful in turning us into a left-socialist nation, and short of civil war nothing can or will change that.

  7. The Democrats legacy: taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes.

  8. Are you kidding? This is the best thing that can happen to us. This is a majority in both houses, and a Presidency. This is a hot poker in the side of real Americans. Whitey gonna riot at the ballot box come November.

  9. Be temperate in what you say. There is no rule of law, and ergo no Bill of Rights. Choose words as though you were in a Berlin nightclub in 1936 - because you are.

Unless you don't give a shit, in which case they'll get you through your family (fines; for now).

As for me, I've called Obamunists Nazis for so long that my tracks are fossilized. So, wtf. We are governed by the very people who give money to the Sierra Club, Moveon.org, and think Obama and Democrats are good people. Click-Click.

I mean all this in the good way, of course.

  10. I'm with Casca-I was already working my ass off here but now I'm going to stop my life to defeat these bastards.

Now I want to see Romney step up to the plate and smack the f outta this travesty.

  11. Read "Pink Swastika".

Germany was overrun by a sodomite conspiracy in '39...same thing for the USA now.

Chicago gay queens have taken over the country...carousel voting in the fall, lifetime president...etc...

  12. I am certain that BHO will enjoy going down in history as the executioner of the Constitution. I hope that John Roberts is satisfied with his role as Chief Justice of the co-executioners. --Skyhawker, Doug

  13. Casca & MM, isn't that viewpoint a bit shortsighted? Even if Romney is elected with a Republican majority in both houses and they strike down the law, this ruling gives future houses (one's not necessarily controlled by the stupids) the ability to screw us in ways never before imagined.

  14. Wabano: So, exactly why did the Nazis put uncloseted queers in concentration camps?

You seem to see queers and Mormons under your bed, threatening you at night.

  16. LOL ROBERTZ: You want ObamaCare repeal? You dooz it.

Rodge, I knew I could count on you for some world class hysteria today. So I'm here to make it all better.

Never underestimate the guile of this man. Judge Roberts is a lot smarter than us, but he hates commies and especially Barry 40-O just as much. So instead of giving us half a loaf and granting martyrdom to Dems, he has ensured that all of ObamaCare is reviled as a tax and repealed, and Dems are ever more deeply despised and Republicans will control the entire federal government. And we will live happily ever after. You're welcome.

I baked a cake to celebrate.

  19. Helly, good insight. After reading this
    article
around noo, I felt the same way. I'll bet that at 10:08
this morning, however, you were muttering the same oaths I was posting.
    Fess up.

  20. "Republicans will control the entire federal government. And we will live happily ever after."
Hate to be a prophet of doom, but once power is held, it is rarely, if ever, relenquished.
I'm trying to think of a single instance where one party overturned the others over reaching legislation.
    Still.

  21. Kristopher, shout out to you on calling out a certain someones lunacy. Everytime I see it it makes my day.

  22. I'm with Helly. Roberts single-handedly put some severe limitations on the powers of the commerce clause and got Obamacare labeled a tax. Both of those are huge wins in the Game of Thrones. Of course, we still need to repeal Obamacare, but we do it through Congress and deny the Dems the martyrdom they'd have had if it came through a 5-4 SCOTUS decision.

I'm already seeing the Tea Party revival, and those drumbeats gonna get louder. Gonna be a good November for us. Mitt will have to sell it, but people are starting to come around to him.

  23. Chef Roberts (to be pronounced with an accent Francais) has revived the dreaded quantum tax clause: A "penalty" is not a tax, except when it is a tax, as observed by Madison's cat.

  24. Yup. Roberts is not being brilliant here.

He is making shit up so he can figleaf his decision.
