Excuse me, but who cares? His momma wasn't the most critical of her choices for 'partners', putting things politely. If they were Red, they were ... well, you get the idea. He, O, REaLLY! feels the lack of a paternal figure, and is using his office, subconsciously, to punish the father he never knew. Gramps and Granny were wealthy, and his Pop, by rights, should have been too, and been THERE also, but he weren't, and instead he got the drunk as 'papa' {spoken in French with accent on last syllable}... tomw
